PHOTO GALLERIES
Ranch Residents and Guests
Shown here are some of the many residents and guests who have lived at the rach. This gallery starts with W.W. Cox, who first purchased the ranch in 1893. He and his wife, Margaret, lived here for over 30 years. Over the last 120+ years there have been several generations of Cox family members who have lived here and worked the land. Working the Land
As you can see from some of these pictures, the life of a rancher was difficult and dirty. Here are just some of those pictures we have collected which illustrate cattle ranching and life outside the walls of the ranch house. Around the Ranch
If you have ever been to the San Augustine Ranch, then you know there is a lot to see. These are just some of our favorite images from around the grounds. The picturesque Organ Mountains have served as a backdrop to most ranch photos. The natural springs collect and funnel water to the plains around the ranch. Even the ranch house itself is a sight to see. Use the arrow keys to go back and forth, or click on the image to see them all full size.
Life Today
Elements of the ranch, including the house, have evolve as the needs of the residents change. One thing that hasn't changed though is the picturesque landscape of the Organ Mountains. This rugged range has served as a backdrop for the ranch and is seemingly ever present in pictures all around the ranch.
